Mimi sent me some photos to post while until she sorts out her technical difficulties connecting to the blog.
"Here are a few pictures of Max in a suit in Norway last week. He went to Stavanger, the home town of his girlfriend, Vicki, for the wild festivities they hold every year on Independence Day (independence from Sweden and Denmark, I think). All the Norwegians wear a "bunad", the national dress Vicki is wearing. Sh is half Norwegian and half Native American (her mother). Max will be coming home to Rome in a couple of weeks, at least for a short while, after he finishes his first year at the University of Brighton."

Great pictures. What a handsome lad and Vicki looks like lots of fun. Maybe Max is preening her for the festivities. Either that or he dropped his gum.
It was just a loving lick on the forehead! and yes i was cleaning her up a bit so she could be presentable in the picture
