Nadia's first trip to NYC

Oooooo, look at that!
Oooooo, look at that!

Nadia is in love with New York. Despite being snotty and feverish, she totally digs our walks around the city...pointing at everyone and everything.

We had an amazing day with Paul and Janis touring the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. (Sorry about your head Paul!)

Statue of Liberty

Then, on to Brooklyn for dinner with Tara, Monte and Vivian. (Seriously though, how cute is this little blue-eyed babe??? So adorable!)

Yesterday and today have been mostly filled with naps.

Sick baby

We'd love to get out to see Jaye, Matt and the beautiful kids as well as Peach...but with this snotosaurus, we may have to wait til the next trip. (I wrote more about our trip so far on my blog.)

Love you all!!!!!

Waaah! Seeing these pictures makes me feel even worse about not seeing Nadia (and Kieran and Sandra too, of course). It's definitely just as well, though -- we've got a bug of a different kind going through our house. Not snot and fever but icky puking and other unpleasant bathroom experiences. First Paul, then me, now Patrick. Hopefully that'll be it, but in any case, it will surely be gone by the time you all return on the 27th!

We just loved meeting Nadia. What a beautiful baby and so good even though she wasn't feeling well. Her parents aren't so shabby eather. We had great fun with you guys, touring and imbibing at the beer garden. Can't wait for us all to have more time together during your upcoming visit. Love ya!!!
